Ask for Extra spicy Lo Mien. They nail it every time. Great food.

The Best of the best! Been going since starting around 2012-2013 and it's 2020 making this review. Great customer service, Great "authentic" food, Great food textures if your picky like me, Never had any problems. They are on top of everything and hands down work "Very hard" every single day. I Highly recommend them to see if their style of food is your cup of tea! My personal top 3 favorites is their fry chicken, pork fried rice, sesame chicken(i love the perfect crunch to it, alot of other places have fat, tasteless or chewy problems with their sesame chicken, and fry chicken).

Great experience here at Peking Gourmet! The Crabs Rangoon’s always hits the spot and I always order the chicken wings with egg fried rice, it was great visiting South Carolina!

THIS IS THE PLACE that you are looking for- don't let the no-frills look of the restaurant fool you! I'm not exaggerating when I say Peking Gourmet is the best Chinese take-out that I have ever had. Our food was so delicious and fresh. The vegetables in my fried rice had an unexpectedly incredible grilled flavor. The chicken in my wife's Chicken with Cashew was perfectly crispy, even the next day when reheated for leftovers. And the leftovers! The portions are so generous that you will have enough for later when you are craving more of this appetizing cuisine. I wonder if the proximity of Peking to the Asian Market has anything to do with the tastiness of their food? Whatever is is, they are doing it right.

I had a favorite Chinese restaurant years ago. I moved away for 7 years and came back to see my favorite spot closed down. I’ve been home for a year and had bad luck with every Chinese restaurant I found. But this place! This place I went to one day last week because it was the first place that popped up in the nearby area. Long story longer—the boneless spare ribs are better than my favorite spot I use to go to. I screamed when I ate the first bite saying, “I have a new favorite Chinese restaurant!” My friend laughed at me and said, “It can’t be that good!” It’s so good I came back tonight, and guess what? The food is even better than the first time! Go here!

Best Chinese food around by far. I only go to Charleston once every few months but when I go, I always get food from here to take home. They have taken great precautions to not spread or catch the Corona virus. They have contained the kitchen to the point where you never come in contact with them. There is no dining in, only takeout. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. And trust me when I say I am extremely critical when it comes to my food!

Food was awesome. The shrimp with garlic sauce was really good. My husband had the pork egg Foo Yung and really enjoyed it.

I may be a little biased because I’m a huge Chinese fan, but being from New York, I know good Chinese food when I taste it. Peking Gourmet does not disappoint. The sweet and sour chicken/pork are favorites for me and my son. We also typically add a side of fried dumplings. Chinese food is always a great go to for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. The seating is typical of a restaurant that rarely has customers dining in, but takeout is where it’s at! We’ll certainly we back for more.
